It might have its elements reduced to the core, but the game manages to keep it simple while offering frenetic action, an intriguing story and colorful cast that will keep you playing until you see the credits roll.

RunGunJumpGun is simple arcade action taken to its extremes. The basic controls don’t get in the way of the gameplay being run through endless permutations, with each of the 120+ levels giving a new challenge distinct from the previous ones.

The game has a good look, is buttery smooth to play, and has a killer soundtrack to go alongside it. Constant death aside, what’s not to like?

While plenty of levels will look like a Super Mario Maker level from hell, they more often than not are so intuitively designed that you may understand its complexity before you even realise it.

If you like to be pushed to the absolute limit, the twitch-heavy gameplay and punishing level design will do just that, crushing your spirit along the way.

Fans of "addictive platformers with a touch of frustration" will love this game. It's not very original, but you'll have a good dose of two-button-based fun.
