I played this game on PC first, then I transferred to PS4, and Warband was one of my first games. Multiplayer is not played as much it should, but this is primarily singleplayer game. Campaign will entertain you for a long time. game mechanics are really good, but could be better. But if you look it's game from 2010, I think it deserves some recognition for what it really is. Masterpiece!

When it comes to battles or visiting locations such villages and cities, then it swtiches to a more immersive third person view.Your character develop skills and levels up (by completing random quests and fighting). You can build up your army, that you have to mantain with gold. Luckily, you don't have to worry about skills and equipment of your recruits.Battles can be both small and big scaled, and there are castle sieges too (which may lead you to conquer a castle).The game is a sandbox, there isn't a story but there is a living world with its factions, wars, allegiance and random events. There is a reputation system and a relationship score between different lords of the realm. You can even marry yourself.There are a ton of things to do in this game, like trading or starting enterprises.What i like about it is that there isn't frustrating micro-management. You can actually choose to do what you like the most, and have fun crushing armies around the world.And in spite of outdated graphics and the absence of cinematics, Mount & Blade is A LOT immersive.

I love this game, I've lost so many days and weeks playing it. I first played it on PC years ago and when my PC broke down I was so annoyed II love this game, I've lost so many days and weeks playing it. I first played it on PC years ago and when my PC broke down I was so annoyed I couldn't play it and now it's on PS4. Graphics aren't as good as newer titles but this game is still good. The controls take some getting used to as I am used to playing it on PC but this game is still very fun.Side note - Mount and Blade 2 Bannerlord is due out at some point this year and has better graphics and probably gameplay, if you want to get an idea of what this is going to be like then buy Warband and play it. You won't regret it

Highly desirable game. This is one of those games that has features you would want in every game, rpg elements, a world that has prestige andHighly desirable game. Its hard to learn to play as nothing is handed to you, personally that is the way I like it. I highly recommend this in the arsenal of every PC gamer. Can't wait for Mount and Blade II.

Any player with a taste for a medieval warlord’s life and a tolerance for dated graphics shouldn’t pass up the chance to sink their teeth into Mount and Blade: Warband. Though the PC version may be a bit easier to recommend thanks to the prevalence of mods and a more established community, folks without that option will do just fine on consoles.

Mount & Blade: Warband isn't supremely polished and swanky, but it is enjoyable, and there is enough intrigue to keep anyone entertained if they can see beyond its datedness. The fighting mechanics and the horse-riding need overhauling entirely for it to be a great game, but in the meantime, Warband is a good game to spend a few hours at a time in.

Thanks to its deep simulation and strategic features, Mount & Blade: Warband is a great game for every lover of the medieval age, provided that you're willing to create your own story as the game won't provide any.

Mount & Blade: Warband is one of the most unique experiences available on PS4. It's a game that people will overlook due to the slightly out dated graphics, but for those that do take the plunge, a polished and addictive gem awaits them.

Better late than never? I disagree. The visuals are outdated and although there are some interesting control schemes at work, the appeal that the pc version generated a few years ago just isn’t there.

I can’t overlook all the issues for the console versions of this game. It feels like very little was done to make it a more streamlined console version. From menus, to font size, controls, and more. It looks extremely dated, like something that somehow got shelved in the early 90’s. It’s got a lot of depth, at least more than expected for a game of this visual style and setting. Just everything that tries to shine is muddied with everything else.

However I stopped playing due to frustration.Please add an option to use the L3 stick for battle and I will start playing this game again.

They actually did up the visuals from the pc game.You can spend hundreds of hours on this game...there is just nothing like it in console. Yes it looks dated...it's a 7 year old game, but if you are willing to learn the mechanics of combat, economy, politics and war you will be rewarded with a game like no other.Controls take some getting used to. Feels kinda wonky until you get it down. But it was just as hard to learn on the pc to be honest.Multiplayer is a hoot. Watch some videos of people who actually play the game and decide if it's something you would be into. Not these half baked "official" reviews.

Releasing a six-year old port onto the Xbox One without reworking the graphics will probably keep this title from any hope of success and the control scheme shows that this game still feels at home on PC, especially while on horseback.

Mount & Blade: Warband features some innovative ideas that many other games in the genre haven't explored. The focus on the political nature of warring countries as well as the actual combat gives players multiple ways to play. It is unfortunate that many of these features are left largely unexplained, though, and they require more than a small amount of trial and error to figure out exactly how to proceed. The steep learning curve and low production values may put many people off, although its open-endedness offers players far more replayability than many other games in the genre.

Mount & Blade: Warband is an awesome "Middle Age simulator". If you are not afraid of an hard initial approach and love roguelike mechanics, this game could give you a lot of hours of pure fun. The translation on console has however some defects, like the less approachable combat system on pad, the strategic component that is more difficult to use and no mod support.

A true curio in the most literal sense, Mount and Blade: Warband will sharply divide PS4 players according to the premium that they place on aesthetics. For those who can look past such failings though, hundreds upon hundreds of hours of play awaits with a game that combines medieval combat, strategy and role-playing quite unlike any other. Just don’t stare at it eh? It’s rude.

While Mount & Blade: Warband hasn't really gained a whole lot in the jump from PC to console, it's great that such a deep and sprawling game has found a home on new platforms after so many years. That being said, the console adaptation is a great way for newcomers to get into it, and at $20 (average price on Steam and most other places), I'd say it's well worth the measly 20 bucks.The only gripe I have so far is that issuing commands to units is kinda clunky, but after more time sunk into it, I'm sure I'll begin to memorize the patterns like I did on a keyboard. The combat is spot on though, maybe even better, and that's really where M&B Warband shines.

The graphics are just decent, but that is a natural limit of this kind of game where over a hundred characters can be on screen at the same time, fighting. Replay value is incredible, and that's just the single player part, and the multiplayer is an equally long-lived joy. Overall a 9 because the graphics don't stack up to today's games in some ways.

I played this game for hours, and I still can't stop playing. I fought big battles, conquered castles and cities and nearly forgot about the weak graphics. Too sad that it doesn't look better.

If you haven't played the original Mount & Blade, go a head and pick up Warband. If you already have M&B, you may want to skip it.

Great improvements to the original game make the new Mount & Blade just the best in middle-ages fight simulation. Finally, we can ride the horse and crush opponents' heads online.

Better graphics, gameplay and new multiplayer modes makes this Mount and Blade Warband a must buy for everyone likes its predecessor. Now we just have to wait for the loads of great mods will come out in the next months.

Nevertheless, Mount & Blade: Warband is not a single-player title and the campaign is nothing more than a bonus for when your Internet connection isn't working. Otherwise, you will find yourself again connected to the official servers, slashing and hacking opponents from all-over the civilized worlds, cursing for being unhorsed or jumping with fear at the sound of an arrow.

For those that stick around, however, Mount & Blade Warband remains every bit the gem of a game that its predecessor was; more so, actually.
