Hours of Darkness, la première des trois extensions DLC prévues pour Far Cry 5, sortira le 5 juin. L'extension déplacera le jeu du comté de Hope vers les jungles étouffantes de la guerre du Vietnam, où le jeune Wendell "Red" Redler se lancera dans une mission de sauvetage de ses camarades capturés.
L'extension ajoutera de nouvelles armes au jeu, notamment le fusil M16, le fusil de précision SVD et la mitrailleuse M60, qui seront également utilisables dans la campagne principale. Vous aurez également la possibilité de faire appel à des "bombardements aériens", qui seront probablement plus efficaces que l'hélicoptère de la mère d'Hurk, et une nouvelle fonction d'instinct de survie qui accorde jusqu'à quatre avantages temporaires pour l'accumulation de meurtres furtifs.

If you're mainly a stealth player you should enjoy this one a lot because it incentivises it through earned perks for every stealth kill you make.The polar opposite of the stealth, this DLC also gives you air strikes, which I found great fun, but are only of limited uses, so you can't just go crazy with it, you have to 'earn' using it through exploration and missions.A few negatives: you can work toward a 3 man roster. If you un-assign them they basically don't un-assign. It seems to be a bug. If you want to stealth through a mission and you un-assign your roster just before, you'll br screwed unless you save and restart. One other thing is the game has you collecting cigarette lighters from downed US pilots. I could see no actual reward for having done so outside of a graphic upon finishing the campaign...I mean, really? They're just there because .. 'collectibles'.You can also finish the story in 30 mins by rushing to the extraction at the end if you're that kind of player. However, if playing it properly which you'll need to for all the trophies it'll take up to 5 hours.
Despite some good moments, Far Cry 5: Hours of Darkness hasn't a single new idea to offer. It gives you what you’re expecting from a shooter set during the Vietnam War, but nothing very exciting.
