Fantasy Grounds est une application hybride qui vous permet de jouer et de créer vos propres jeux de rôle. Elle facilite le jeu et fournit des modules d'aventure optionnels qui peuvent être chargés et joués avec très peu de préparation. Chaque partie nécessite un maître de jeu (MJ) et un ou plusieurs joueurs. Les parties peuvent être jouées au cours d'une session de quelques heures seulement ou se poursuivre au cours de plusieurs sessions étalées sur plusieurs jours, semaines, mois ou années. Un MJ installe généralement l'application et choisit le système de jeu de son choix, ce que nous appelons un jeu de règles. Fantasy Grounds est livré préchargé avec des jeux de règles pour FATE Core, Numenera, Dungeons & Dragons 3.5, Dungeons & Dragons 4E, Dungeons & Dragons fifth edition et Pathfinder RPG. Des jeux de règles supplémentaires sont disponibles gratuitement ou à l'achat dans notre atelier. Dungeons & Dragons 3.5, D&D cinquième édition et Pathfinder sont de bons points de départ pour les nouveaux MJ et pour ceux qui découvrent Fantasy Grounds. Ces jeux de règles sont livrés préchargés avec des modules de bibliothèque de base contenant des capacités, des sorts, des monstres et des objets.

This software is tempting, but for many who buy it it is nothing but a time-wasting money pit of a rip-off. Finding games is pretty difficultThis software is tempting, but for many who buy it it is nothing but a time-wasting money pit of a rip-off. Finding games is pretty difficult for anything but 5e it seems, so you better already have a gaming group to play with you using it. Also, though the community has some wonderful elder statesmen members, the majority are pretty terrible and rude. In addition, few games last more than one session. There are a litany of other issues but i think this sums it up well enough, i have already wasted way to much time and money on this game to type any more about it.

Fantasy Grounds isn't a game in and of itself. But it's almost certainly going to end up being my most valued piece of Steam software.
