est un visual novel mystérieux dans lequel vous découvrez les secrets d'Enigma, une épidémie mondiale, et une forêt sur une île solitaire qui porte son nom.
Le monde est atteint d'une mystérieuse maladie connue sous le nom d'"Enigma"

Chester, infecté par cette maladie, se retrouve rejeté sur une île isolée, Carlyle.
Alors que la jeune fille qui l'a soigné lui fait visiter l'île, Chester sent que quelque chose ne va pas.
Il n'y a pas de médecins du continent. Non seulement il n'y a aucune information sur le monde extérieur, mais les habitants semblent totalement inconscients de l'épidémie mondiale.
---C'est comme si cet endroit avait été complètement isolé du reste du monde.
Au bout d'un moment, Chester trouve une forêt blanche bien visible au milieu d'une étendue verte.
"Cette forêt dévore les gens. C'est ce que je crois."
La forêt s'appelle Enigma.
Le même que celui de la maladie qui consume son corps.

The art was fairly pleasant and vividly detailed. I enjoyed looking at the scenery and characters as they were drawn well. But with the horribly painful interactions and long drawn out scenes of nothing that I had to force myself to get through, the art just didn’t make up for it.

There’s a premise with a lot of potential in enigma, but it’s squandered on cliche characters, uneven pacing, and rough localisation.

ENIGMA: is a surprising visual novel in how well it brings together humor, mystery and drama. It takes skillful writing to make this work as well as it does here.
