I feel it's not the best in the series but keeps the quality high and has some really solid sections.A bit more linear in some parts but still overall a very fun game.
I hate it when people give low scores because they did not like the ending (like many did with Mass effect 3). You played it til the end so have the decency to give the game credit for that. Seems very immature to me. It makes user rating obsolet when you rate it 0 because you do not like 1 thing. For me I did not like two things. First there was one puzzle which you had to solve by doing something which was normally not possible. The second thing was some puzzles had to be solved under time pressure. That was really annoying for me. You had to constantly save and load the game which in my opinion is not the way to play an adventure. Then at least add Quicksave and Quickload to the game. But I do not see the point in that anyway. But if you a fan of Deponia you should play it anyway. Maybe its just me.
Faint return of the popular adventure series. Deponia still charms with its original concept and humor …and even Rufus lost none of his charm. The devs from of Daedalic bring us an adventure that is good only with its story, but not with a gameplay.
Although in the new chapter Rufus is once again alive, well and goofs around as much as ever, don’t expect that he’ll get his “happily ever after” this time. On the other hand – who even needs that “ever after” when you’ve got a time machine?
